Can we thank
God when things are not exactly the way we would want them to be?
Almost from
the moment David entered the palace he had troubles.
And yet he
more than any other biblical character except for perhaps Paul never stopped
praising God for all His good blessings
Today more
than ever we need to remember that God is to be praised in all circumstances
We have sung
these words but perhaps it is time to pray them.
Psalm 18:1-3 (ESV)
1 I love you, O LORD, my strength.
2 The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
3 I call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised, and I am saved from my enemies.
This too
shall pass
