I find it
interesting that people can flood into Walmart, or Costco but cannot attend a
church service.
Thankfully our
Attorney General and a number of federal judges have also found this unusual.
Churches in
areas where people can go to large box stores are now told they can attend
church as long as they practice safety guidelines
That is good
news and hopefully we will be able to open in the near future.
But it got
me to thinking how easy it was for our churches to be closed, and how easily Christians
submitted to the powers that be.
While I am
100% for safety and keeping people safe, I am also aware of how the world sees
the church and would love to eliminate it.
We need to
be vigilant and ever watchful. We must be ready to stand firm should the day
come when we need to make a real choice between listening to the government and
exercising our constitutionally protected right to freely worship.
Ephesians
6:11 (NASB)
11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil.

Corinthians 16:13 (NASB)
13 Be on the alert, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong.

2 Thessalonians 2:15 (NASB)
15 So then, brethren, stand firm and hold to the traditions which you were taught, whether by word of mouth or by letter from us.

This too
