May 4 Devotion

The last couple of days have been pretty nice with temps. In the high 60’s.

It seems spring has sprung.

Spring is usually a time of renewal and new life.

Flowers are blooming and trees are coming alive.

What was really encouraging is seeing people out and about and acting responsibly.

People at the beach but practicing distancing, people on bikes and along hiking paths.

This is all good news!

We have been through a lot in the last eight weeks and hopefully we will see even more of our world opening soon, especially our churches.

We need to remain strong and vigilant and cling to our faith. For it is times like this that test our faith and leads to perseverance.

Continue in your faith and especially in Gods word every day.

Joshua 1:9 (ESV)
9  Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.”

Proverbs 3:5-6 (ESV)
5  Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.
6  In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.

This too shall pass
