May 1 Devotion

Probably the most frustrating part of this whole virus/quarantine thing is that not everyone can agree on anything

First it was don’t wear masks and now we are told we have to wear them

Then it was we are going to lock down for 15 days and now its been 45 days and counting

Some states have gone so over the top that they are forbidding people from buying flower or vegetable seeds.

We can see the frustration as many are beginning to protest and ignore a lot of the regulations

Thankfully the one sure thing we as believers can rely on is that God never changes or confuses His people

His word are sure and clear and always have our best interest in mind.

Isaiah 26:2-3 (ESV)
2  Open the gates, that the righteous nation that keeps faith may enter in.
3  You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you.

I read this yesterday and thought it was appropriate

Hope is the ability to hear the melody of the future

Faith is the courage to dance to it today

Proverbs 3:5-6 (ESV)
5  Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.
6  In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.

This too shall pass
