April 14 Devotion

This is now the third or fourth week we have all been quarantined due to this virus causing such havoc in the world.

Scripture tells us that such trials make us stronger. They refine us like gold in the furnace, and I believe that.

God has a way of turning such situations into blessing in His time.

Listen to how David put it

Psalm 30:11-12 (ESV)
¹¹  You have turned for me my mourning into dancing; you have loosed my sackcloth and clothed me with gladness,
¹²  that my glory may sing your praise and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give thanks to you forever!

 

I love the words to Amazing grace my chains are gone

 

My chains are gone, I’ve been set free

My God, My Savior has ransomed me

And like a flood His mercy rains

Unending love, Amazing Grace

 

One day God will turn all of our mourning and anxiety into shouts of joy and praise.

 

We will come together again as a family and as one praise our God for His deliverance

 

This too will pass
