Isaiah 41:10,13 (NASB)
10 'Do not fear, for I am with you; Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, surely I will help you, Surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.'
13 "For I am the LORD your God, who upholds your right hand, Who says to you, 'Do not fear, I will help you.'
I was listening to a psychiatrist this
morning who suggested people watch about a half hour of news either in the
morning or evening and perhaps listening to the Trump team update at five but that’s
it.
He is seeing people exhibiting signs
of PTSD from watching too much news. News always focuses on the negative
aspects and rarely on the positive.
But for the Christian I have a
different suggestion. Stay in Gods word. There is strength and encouragement
there. Look at the opening words of the passage I posted. “Do not fear, for I
am with you”
You were made by God and for God and
until you understand and accept that, life will never make sense.
This too shall pass.
